Why Salesforce's "No Software" Campaign

If you ever went on Saleforce’s website in the past, you’ll be able to recognize this logo:image

Since computing (cloud or otherwise) implies there’s software, this kind of marketing is clearly Market-Fit driven.

You: No software you know, no updating, no hardware, and shit

Your Boss: I hate software

Accounting: I hate hardware.

Marketing to businesses who aren’t tech savvy is nothing new. This is awesome because they’re marketing a product that can’t exist, but it fits exactly to the language of their target demographic.

I can’t imagine how many people internally thought the marketing team is retarded for putting up that logo.
