Each blue circle is a computer that has received an aggregate benchmark from doing a variety of processor performance tests.
What’s interesting is that over the years, on many processors in my Laptop’s class (15″ Retina Macbook), there looks like a negligible speed improvement. (twice the score = twice the speed)
Here’s my 2012 Retina Macbook’s score:
Seems like Apple / Intel has opted for more efficient processors, than increasing the bottom line for raw speed over the last 3 years.
